Nice for smaller leftovers
Never saw the pint size in the stores. Good for freezing baby food.

I bought my first FoodSaver in 1978, and I have had one ever since. I cannot even begin to guess how much it has saved me. The pint bags have proven to be great for individual portions, My wife likes to sell things on the internet, often times small, loose and sometimes fragile things, Using these bags has helped keep them safe and secure ( no jingling in the box ). I have found that uses for this system is limited only by my imagination.

Pint bags are ideal for me.
My husband and I are retired and all our kids are grown and live far from us. The pint bags are just the right size for a single meal's worth of vegetables or meats in the freezer. This summer, as our garden produced peppers, I prepared and froze stuffed peppers for 8 or 9 dinners. I also froze several pints of cantaloupe as well as black-eyed peas from our garden, all in the pint bags. I like these better than using the rolls because they're narrower than any of the rolls, and I feel like I'm wasting a lot of material if I use the rolls to make bags for smaller quantities. I do use larger bags for casseroles that I first freeze in the rectangular Pyrex dishes I use to cook them in. Sometimes, I leave the food in the dishes, and sometimes I remove it. These bags are great for when we travel in our travel trailer, too. They take up much less room than other freezer containers and I don't need to wash them. I have also used them a few times to reheat frozen chili using boiling water when we don't have electricity for the microwave.
