Got the game saver for my husband for Christmas and he has been sealing ever since. We have had no issues with it overheating or any of the other issues people talked about. Very happy with it.

This is the 4th Food Saver product we have had in the last 12 years or so. We use if a great deal since we butcher and vacuum seal all our own venison. I find that the bags prevent freezer burn even when some of the packages have been frozen close to a year.

It was a gift but I also have one and I love it. Its really easy to use and save on freezer burn because sometimes things are in my freezer for a very long time.
