i bought it 2 days ago for storing this years deer harvest. this product made great packages to stack in the freezer and cleaned up easily when we were all finished.

After pondering buying this or the lower priced 99.00 we decided on the this model. Might of had to do with the fact they were out of the other model. We have sealed app. 50 quart and gallon pkgs with it and only one failure, and it was due to my fault of getting the seal area dirty. I am now wrapping my meats in plastic wrap before sealing. This is how the great BBQ chefs reccomend doing your meats in the first place. I will see how it does in the spring and I am sealing up fish. I only gave it a four due to the fact I havent owned it long enough to give it a five.

I have a older version of this model and am now looking for a second one to have at my shore house. This will be the only model I will buy. It is the best one out there. Easy to use and works great. Can't what to get the new version and see how it works. It's so easy to use, that's it makes it fun to seal food. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a food saver.

I purchased at the recommendation of a sales pre at FoodSaver the FoodSaver Deluxe Plus. I was advised based on what I use it for it was the best. All I use it for is to package fish and wild game with a few things from the store. I was advised it would seal up to 50 bags without over- heating and would work great for me. Right, I couldn’t seal three bags without it over heating, what a piece of junk. I am taking mine back and as soon as the one comes in I ordered for my Son-in-law it is going back as well.
