employees to order online becauce store was out of stock.Great sealer very simple and easy. I liked quikstart card so I didnt have to read manual.Finished 2 deer already, with the LEM grinder Ibaught in store.

In a nutshell, worth every penny! Great for preserving food in the freezer for extended periods of time without the freezer burn. I also purchased the jar sealers for use with mason jars. The mason jars come in several sizes and are much cheaper than the foodsaver containers.

Dont get me wrong, this is a very nice tool to have, but it is LOUD. I thought I was going to package some meat while my wife was watching TV. Wrong. When the vacuum comes on it sounds like, well.. a vacuum. So I wont be using it when the Kids are napping, but it does a great job.

I have an older Food-Saver Sportsman model that I really liked but it has stopped working. It had an extended vacum feature that would let you remove most of the air. This new one that I recently purchased from Bass Pro, on line has such a short run-time that not nearly all the air is removed. I can't seem to do any thing that will change this for the better.
