Not what I expected! The good reputation of Bass Pro Shops led me to expect that I would get quality from their merchandise. This colapsible net is very poorly made. It literally fell apart after the third or fourth time of use. The screws loosened after a couple of uses and even after tightening them, they came out and the net fell into the river! It also corroded which I found to be very surprising. Absolutely not recommended. September 23, 2007
light and compact I like to walk to the lake to fish so I need compact gear. This little one is great. No issues so far and used it all last season. May 16, 2008
Great Net When I first got this net, it was to be used when I went fishing at the Sierra's. I used it and it worked, nothing got unscrewed, I would recomend this to anyone. April 16, 2008
Bad experience I'm writing this to save someone else from wasting their money like I did. The handle unbeknownst to me, unthreaded from the net when i was fishing in the South Platte River. I has used it on a couple of trout when I felt something bump my leg. I looked down and saw my net going down the current. The net performed ok to that point. I suppose you could put some loctite on the threads. I have a nice handle with a loop on it if anyone needs one, lol. July 2, 2009
