Folding Ladder - Universal Mount
info on installing
I called the company and was told that the correct way to install this ladder on a aluminum boat was with nuts, washers and bolts. It will not be secure with just screws.
Will not work on all boats. We couldn't use it for we didn't have access to reach bolts

The ladder is not only a great value but works great! I have a bass boat and mounted it on the rear transom and it looks great and is out of the way. It only took about an hour or so to do. Mounting hardware is not included ... bought ss screws, nuts and washers at local hardware store for about $5.00. I highly recommend this product. I bought the two step ladder. I am an old guy and can get back in the boat easily on this ladder. Thanks Bass Pro!

Easy to install and nice looking. Hard to tell that it didn't come with my boat. I have a deep V boat and it would be darn near impossible for me to get back into it if I fell out when I'm by myself (not getting any younger either). I haven't gotten to use it yet but I went to the aid of a capsized canoe last week and one of the soaking wet canoers was able to climb right up into the boat with it.

Very sturdy ladder
If you're looking for a nice ladder for your bass boat (I've got the Pro Team 190), I'd recommend this ladder. It's sturdy.....but make sure you order the 2-step if you have the 2013 model with the "step" under the transom. I got the 3 step ladder because that's what I used on my old 17 Pro and liked it. That boat was seriously underpowered. I regret getting it for my new 190 because it sits below the planing level and sprays a stream of water up like a rooster tail when on plane. I wish manufacturers would let you know the difference in the product description for the application. I thought it was strictly a choice of convenience bit I find now it is otherwise. The 2-step would have been perfect for the 190. Too late now. It's mounted. I drilled and tapped the holes for 10-24 Stainless steel screws and used plenty of 3M 5200 Adhesive on the mounting plates. It's not only screwed but glued solid to the transom.
