I was recommended this product by a friend who has been tying flies for decades. He suggested it in lieu of using the 'open jar and dubbing needle' method of applying glue. The cap keeps the needle clean and unclogged, and it's very effective in keeping the cement under control, and makes it much easier to apply it right where it's needed. Sometimes you can get a little too much cement if you squeeze the bottle too hard - I blame that on my own 'user error!' It will take a little practice, but it works nicely and seals knots well. A good product for both beginners and advanced fly tyers.
