Named after the trophy ''Blue Ribbon'' waters all fly fishers dream about, the Blue Ribbon Waterproof Twin Fly Box features Flambeau's innovative VFF (Vertical Friction Foam™) technology on both sides which doubles fly storage capacity (holds 160 flies). VFF technology works using vertically slit rows of foam that securely hold flies between pads using friction, eliminating the need for the hook to pierce the foam. Made from rugged, impact-resistant plastic, the fly box is designed with a 360º waterproof rubber gasket, rubber bumpers to reduce skid and increase durability, positive cam locking system, clear lid and heavy-duty metal hinge. Finally a fly box that earns the name
"BLUE RIBBON". I wonder why it took manufacturerers so long. There's nothing more frustrating then going through 3 or 4 fly boxes while your on stream in a wind storm looking for just the right bug to tie on.. Clear see through lids make the job,.a one step snap. Now if they'd just come up with one that fit "BIG" Bass bugs. Maybe a single layer box with a one inch+ clearence for the top. So those number 2 and 2/0 mouse patterns would fit without getting squashed or is it squwished?
