This fly box is a little smaller than advertised, but it is very sharp and will do the job. I currently have about 70 flies is there to cover the different species I fly fish for. I am going to buy a second one to separate by trout and bass/panfish. Very sturdy box and is completely waterproof until you mess up the O-ring.

Love the box, it is a little smaller than I thought. But love the construction.

Love this box!! The variety of sizes makes for being able to organize by fly species, time of year, or just for the day. The lock and O-Ring system work wonderfully. I have owned other "waterproof" boxes from large name national specialty stores that did not perform anywhere near as good as these boxes do and I paid A LOT more for them. Granted, as with any O-Ring system, you must keep the rings clean and lubed when not in use. This is especially critical in dry climates like we have here in Denver. Look, until the boys at Otterbox or Pelican decide to start making fly boxes, there will probably not be a true "waterproof" case under all circumstances, but these boxes are as good as you are going to get, and the quality and construction of these products can not be beat! They are all I own, and I fish around 90 days a year..

Extremely disappointed with this item. I paid $18.99 for this to get a waterproof fly box instead of $3 for a cheapie. Unfortunately the box is not waterproof at all - the o-ring does not seal and it fills up if placed 2 inches under water. Worst thing is I purchased 2....
