Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Chest pack Purchased this pack after trying vests & other packs. This pack is excellent for a fly fisher. It has places to hang tippet, zingers, etc and has a replaceable fly patch. April 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good minimalist pack This is a good pack for carrying just the essential gear and go light. I use this for trout fishing. I don't flyfish that much, but I use small jigs, roostertails and crankbaits.. It will accommodate a small Plano stowaway type box, maybe two. The fold down work bench is a plus, especially to store flies/jigs. I don't use it as a chest pack, as it tends to get in the way. I slling it across my shoulder, where it is out of the way but easily within reach. The neck strap could use some padding, but it's only a minor issue for me.I'm happy with it. July 18, 2011
