After having a Simms traditional vest for ten years, I decided to use my BPS gift card to splurge on a new vest. The Gore Range Tech Pack is excellent. I have used it only twice so far (which is why it didn't get 5 stars, need to use it a few more times), but the deep vertical pockets keep fly boxes safe, the drop down fly holders keep you from losing flies (I used to put them on a wool patch, and they would fall off).
Also, the vest is comfortable in hot weather, and fits well (I am a pretty large person).

Boughrt this vest a couple years ago and I am very pleasd with it. It's light weight and has plenty of storage for all you would need for a long day on the water. The lay out is great and you can get very well organized. It may be a little pricey but is worth every penny.

I am a medium build and the vest fits very well. I haven't gotten to wear it in winter yet, but the straps have plenty of room to expand out.
As for storage their is plenty of room for quick access to flies and plenty of pockets to store anything you will ever need.
You won't regret spending a little more money for a Fishpond item.

Perfect for fly fishing in all conditions. Lightweight, easy access to stuff. Great quality. Price should not be an obstacle when considering this purchase.

Circumference with the waist adjustments completely let out measures 60"! The chest straps also have a lot of adjustability. This vest should fit someone into the 6'6'' range.
