This is a really great lightweight tackle bag. I purchased this pack to serve as a light tackle bag since most traditional tackle boxes are simply way too large when you only need a few items. It's perfect when you want to grab only a few lures from a larger box during short trips. This pack was located in the fly fishing department, although my usual routine is shore fishing for bass.
I can fit two small or medium size lure boxes, soft plastics in ziplock bags, pliers, a full size spinning reel and extra spool, and a few misc odds and ends. I removed the fly fishing foam inserts to provide a bit more space. There are so many small pockets inside that I haven't really found a use for yet, but the flexibility of this small bag really sets it apart from other tackle bags. The only other soft bags with shoulder straps are at least twice as large and don't have any compartments. I also like the appearance since it's not neon blue or camo.
It can be worn as a hip or chest pack, though I find simply slinging it over a shoulder to be the most convenient.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by SplashMissouri Holds Everything You Need
I purchased this pack as a replacement for my vest. It was tried out for the first time on a week long fishing trip. I love how much stuff it holds! At first, I used a lanyard to keep my tools on, but that got in the way. So now, I just hook my tools onto the pack. I use the waist and shoulder straps together and I can flip the pack around to my back while casting. My only problem right now is where to put my net.

This pack was reccomended by the folks in the Katy store. I thought it was a lot to pay but sure am glad I did. It beats any vest in the heat, is extremely versatile and has many compartments for all the gadgets I need.
Having used others, this one is much better on my neck as it can be used as a conventional pack, belt pack, shoulder pack or fanny pack.
You will not regret the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by xyzjohn great 'man purse'
Ok, guys...ever want to carry a purse, but didn't like the spangles or glitz on your wife' or girlfriends purses. As a paraplygic from an equestrian accident, I've been using this FishPond bag for the last three years to carry my medical products, moneyless wallet, fishing / hunting lisence, small tools, a deck of cards, a scratch pad and some extra Bass Pro gift cards. I liked it so much, that after a burgalar stole my old one, I bought a replacement. With all the zippered pockets, and pouches I always had plenty of room to segregate my junk. Even after two years of rough daily use, it still looked great. The plastic snaps on the shoulder strap may have been getting weak, but I might have stretched them a little when they hooked the spokes of my wheelchair. How it will work for you fly fisherman, I don't have a clue, but for a man purse, well I never caught anyone laughing at me.
