The perfect pack for the minimalist fly fisherman! I fit everything I need in this pack...one efficient fly box (i use the scientific anglers Max 432)...spare leaders, shot, a sandwich, and a flurry of other things. Attached to the exterior are my forceps (snugly clamped to the black rubbery tab), floatant, xink, zinger with nippers, tape measure, and a net attached to the loop on the neck strap.
I am a big guy at 6'3" 255 with a big wide chest and this pack is comfortable and doesn't hinder my casting at all. It can be worn on the waist but I prefer it on my chest.

Just got back from Fly Fishing in Colorado.
I love this pack. I didn't want to wear a vest and my Fishpond Blue Water was too big,( got in the way of casting ) this was the solution. Day in, day out I used it and was never feeling like it was too small.

The chest pack itself is great. It needs a longer neck strap to gain better access to pack and it hinders casting.
