Rated 3 out of 5 by GOOD FOR SMALL FISH, UNLESS.. YOU PUT THIS FISHING POLE HOLDER BETWEEN THE SLITS OF SOME BIG STURDY ROCKS, IT WILL BECOME MORE STURDY & LESS LIKELY YOU WILL NOT LOSE YOUR FISHING POLE/COMBO FROM A BIG FISH. OTHER THAN THAT, I USE IT FOR LITE TACKLE, ITS LIGHT, EASY TO CARRY & IT STICKS IN DIRT & SAND OKAY. IT WOULD BE BETTER THOUGH IF THEY ADDED A LITTLE FOOT PEG NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE BACK OF THE BLACK BASE, SO IT WOULD BE EASIER TO PUSH IN THE DIRT OR SAND. ANOTHER THING I WOULD ADD IS LIKE A METAL PIN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE POLE HOLDER, SO MY POLE WONT SLIDE ALL THE WAY DOWN, & IT WOULD BE EASIER TO PULL THE ROD OUT ONCE A FISH IS ON. ITS WORTH IT THOUGH, BEATS HAVING TO HOLD YOUR POLE THE WHOLE TIME.. February 17, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by pole holder I like the pole holder for its light and easy access but i thought it was longer, and isn't very good for longer butt poles. I do alot of striper fishing with long heavier duty poles. Its good for trout or smaller cats. August 1, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good to have Just what you need when setting on the bank, fits easy into small tackel box, not the strongest, but does the job February 7, 2011
