i would say stick to powerbait BUT ive caught trout on shrimp when I was fishing for cats, so you can try it out, its cheap but I wouldnt recommend it for trout , it realllllly stinks..

These are perfect for catfish if I were you buy several you will not be disapointed. I caught a 15lbs and a 25lbs first time I ever put them out and they held up well these will last you a long time.

are these worms like tiny red worms or nightcrawlers
and are they skinny thin or fat

They vary some in size, anywhere from 1" to 2". Pretty thick as well. I think they would be great for bass and trout as well as panfish and maybe even walleye.

They are large-size mealworms, not earthworms.

these are larger, but not slimy like red worms or night crawlers. they are more like a meal worm but four or five times larger. about an inch and a half to two inches long.
