These products fall off the hook way to easily and seem to feed the fish rather than catch'em for me. They also smell god awful ecspeacialy the crickets. Your better off catching or buying live bait because although it might not be as messy your hands will be smelly for a while.

it works best on river fish. I didnt get a bite at the pond i go to (and the pond is over populated)

I never even had the interest of the fish with this bait. I'm sure it works in some places but not in the waters I was fishing.

I have had no lick with the bait staying on. Mostly catch small panfish when the bait is still on the hook . For kids this is a good product it's not dirty or messy to put on the hook.

If you can get them to stay on your hooks than they aren't bad. The only places i've had luck with them are in moderate to fast current and even at that the current sometimes pushes the bait off. Your better off with live ones or Gulp Alive crawlers.

i would say stick to powerbait BUT ive caught trout on shrimp when I was fishing for cats, so you can try it out, its cheap but I wouldnt recommend it for trout , it realllllly stinks..Details:

Not good at all. Unless your on a small farm pond your not going to have any luck with them. However if you want to catch the smaller bullheads than these are a pretty good bet. But for channels and blues i wouldnt waste any time.A:

They vary some in size, anywhere from 1" to 2". Pretty thick as well. I think they would be great for bass and trout as well as panfish and maybe even walleye.A:
