Better than gel or spray. I'm not sure is attractants actually attract fish or hide my smell, but I do notice a difference when using them, and this one is no different. It is better than most because applying it is easy, and it does stay on longer than others. The only catch is that you need to keep it kind of warm, especially during cold months, or you won't be able to spread it on as easily. October 29, 2014
Why not? I don't know if this stuff helps you catch more fish or not. But what I do know is it can't hurt. It covers up human scent and adds something the fish like so that's a plus. I know some people swear by it. I think it's a confidence thing too. I know when I put it on my soft plastics the fish shouldn't spit it if he does bite. The size is the best thing. No more big spray bottles or dips. May 8, 2014
works great We are all looking for an edge and this is the product that will give you one. It is amazing, I was using a tube with out this scent and the fishing was ok but when I applied this on to my tube is was amazing. Give it a try and you will put more fish in the boat. March 16, 2014
Fish Sticks Lure Enhancer Easy to keep in your pocket! Works well! The spray type of sent gets on your boat and is hard to get off. This product does not. December 18, 2013

I recently purchased the Shad Fish Stick. I LOVE IT,IT WORKS,on my soft & hard swimbaits & my crankbaits!! My only concerns are how often do i apply to a lure,& if left on permantly or for too long, will it affect my cranks in a negative way? Such as discoloring my cranks & ruining the original color scheme,or rust my hooks & split rings if accidently gets on them? Any help is Appreciated,& Thank You for Your Time...Good Fishing

I've been using this product for probably 4 months now and like you, I use it all the time on my cranks. Usually depending on the length of cast I'm making dictates how often I apply fish sticks. If I'm catching fish I wont apply again until they stop. Other wise if they are biting slow usually about every 20 to 30 cast when making long cast. Fishing in bayou's where long cast are not available about every 50. Don't forget to get you some crawfish for your worms and creature baits because if you thought the shad works well you will really like the crawfish. I've never noticed any discoloring of my baits or rust on split rings or hooks. Hope that helps you and good luck.

I don't about the Shad Fish Stick but go get some Shad Kick N Bass and use it as liberally as you wish. It will NOT harm your baits in anyway. Be careful not to get it on your clothes or the carpet in your boat as it is 100% fish oil. Get you some and I promise you will get your arm jerked. Okieboy61

I would not use it on a crankbait unless it says you can on the package of the attractant. Use could damage the lure finish.
