Rated 5 out of 5 by Hook Extractor These are great tools that no serious fisherman should be without. I wish they still came with the lanyard and holster like they used to because I lose three or four over the side each season on my charter boat. Perhaps that's why they stopped including them. It sure boosted sales on my boat. The use of this tool will save fish you intend to release. With a little practice you can even remove a hook from a gut hooked fish and send it on it's way. Pliers can't come close to this extractor. March 18, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value Took a few catches before I got the hang of how to use this extractor, but along with my long shank pliers, I'm able to remove approximately 95% of my hookups. Illustrations on use could be a little better. October 27, 2011

If you are like me, the warranty is unimportant. The tool is very well built and will last until a tarpon rips it from your hands as you are releasing it and tosses it forty yards from the boat.

Then you pull out your spare and order two more. They really are of good quality.

A:
Lifetime waranty, I use mine in saltwater every day and it does not have a speck of rust on it. The only reason I buy more is when a big shark takes it away from me. My error. This tool is a must for every angler.
