More than specially designed pliers, this easy-to-use hook-out device actually extracts the hook from the fish. By squeezing the Fish Hook Extractor's handles causes the hook to rotate out of fish, promoting a safe, fish-friendly release. Constructed from stainless steel for maximum durability and corrosion-resistance. The Fish Hook Extractor is backed by the manufacturer's unconditional guarantee.

  • Easily extracts hooks from fish
  • A squeeze of the handle rotates the hook out of the fish
  • Fish-friendlly release
  • Stainless steel construction
  • Works on hooks up to 10/0 in size

great tool Took awile to learn how to use the hook extractor, but once you figure it out it is great. It's a little bit expensive though June 1, 2012
Good value Took a few catches before I got the hang of how to use this extractor, but along with my long shank pliers, I'm able to remove approximately 95% of my hookups. Illustrations on use could be a little better. October 27, 2011
Wish I'd known... I'm not crazy about the beveled end of the guide tube. This puts a preset twist into the hook so that you have to get the fish / hook oriented to the tool (which is hard to do if you don't want to take the fish out of the water). I'd have preferred a simple perpendicular grasp so that I could twist as needed to get the hook out rather than have the tool twist for me. June 16, 2011
Best Product I have used the large stainless steel fish hook extractors for over three years. This is the second time I purchase the this fish hook extractor. I lost my fish hook extractor last year on a fishing trip in the ocean and between the bay where I live. I will not use any other brand of fish hook extractor since it is not well made. I prefer all stainless steel and it easy to use. March 8, 2011

A:
Lifetime waranty, I use mine in saltwater every day and it does not have a speck of rust on it. The only reason I buy more is when a big shark takes it away from me. My error. This tool is a must for every angler.
