Very great buy. Use it when I catch catfish so there is no fins going into hand when they flip while trying to grab. And yes it does float. Found out the hard way.

I was tired of getting slimed and stinky, so I bought one of these. One of the best things I have since I've been fishing, Wish I bought one years ago. I've used it on a variety of sized catfish and it held them all. Just break it in a little before using it on a fish.

Very reliable tool. Makes removing catfish easy. I bought a new one for a friend. The one I own is probably 10 years old and still works. The only draw back is that it takes two hands to open the jaws.

I had purchased two of these and thye have both broken with first or second use. Spend a lilttle extra and get the metal pair.
