A quality ice rod can make a hard day of fishing a great deal easier. Fenwick Elite Tech Ice Rods, for instance, give ice anglers a great grip with a TAC (Technically Advanced Construction) handle that improves the grip and durability in even rigid conditions. Other features include stainless steel frame guides with aluminum oxide inserts that reduce weight while standing up to harsh environments. A Twist-lock reel seat with a stainless steel hood eliminates the need to tape the reel to the rod.

Rated 5 out of 5 by You have to have one This rod, even if a bit expensive is a must. At first, I wanted to use this rod as one of my heavier rods. Since I used it a couple of times, it became my go to rod all by itself. Just the way this rod was built is awesome. January 3, 2014
