Federal Premium Vital-Shok Trophy Bonded Tip Rifle Ammo
I shoot a 7 mag. with 130 trophy bonded bullets. Great bullet, with good penetration and mushroom ability.
Whitetail deer fall in their tracks. But my problem now is finding them, i have one box left and can't seen to find anymore.

These bullets shot good on target, but they are too solid for deer . Shot whitetail behind the shoulder ,it took off fast . After waiting a hour tracked to heavy brush, it was very much alive. It got up and ran off .. The shot was from 100 yards behind shoulder ,30-06 180 grain bullet. What I think happened was the bullet went in and out fast and did not mushroom out? I got these for Elk hunting and Bear defense! I will not use these on deer again!

30-06 bonded tip
Always wanted to try these out just to say I've been on the premium band wagon. I had no load or ejection issues with my bar. All bullets were seated evenly and clean. Performance at the range yielded larger groupings compared with my other go to loads federal blue box power shook in 180 grain. Range temps were in the 90's that my have had an effect. I did like the fact bass pro had these on sale.
