Federal Premium® Power-Shok® Centerfire Rifle Ammo
Federal Power Shok .270win 130 gr
I have used this ammo as a go to load for hunting and accuracy testing for years. Very accurate in all firearms tested. Very lethal on deer. The best part is the inexpensive price for what I consider the best factory ammo at any price.

Used This for Years, & It Works!
130 grain is what i mostly use. Never had a problem. When you shoot a deer the entry wound is small, the exit is bigger. LOL.

Great ammo for a really good price
.308 Win 150gr out of my and my wife's new Savage rifles group consistently under 1" at 100 yds. She dropped three whitetails in their tracks last fall in under 45 seconds and has taken one this fall that dropped where it stood. Enough said.

Good, Great before they changed the bullets.
I have used this ammo for about 7 years in the following calibers: 30/30, 30-06, 270, 7mm mag, and 308. Before the bullet was changed about 3 years ago (cost savings I would assume) I would of given the round a 5 star rating. Since they changed to the new bullet (the old one had some lead stick out and the new one is copper coated to the tip) they don't pattern quite as well as they used to. I still get 1" to 1-1/4" groups and that is good by most people's standards. When I got used to 1/2" and 3/4" groups it turned me off on them a little. I have never had a gun that didn't shoot them a least decently. They almost always are loaded hot so expect recoil to be the highest with a federal load. The lead they use is devistating on deer. It is a little soft so if you get a leg bone expect a grapefuit sized hole. I shot a doe in the neck once and almost took her head off. If you shoot a typical lung shot they will absolutely devistate a deer.
