Federal® American Eagle® Centerfire Pistol Cartridges
Good stuff when you can get it.
I haven't ever shot these into anything but paper or aluminum and the dirt or logs backing targets. May be facing deer hunting with pistol this year , with spinal arthritis etc. getting worse. I can only hunt from my back porch , at least until further surgery , so was very glad to find these to practice some - and the best price I could find via phone or internet was at Bass Pro. clean , accurate , and above all reliable. Only rated 4 stars because I don't want to try to use on deer even at close shots i might get. I have never had one of these misfire in any revolver caliber , or had feeding problems either in an autoloader.

A littly dirty but not bad
My local BassPro's been out-of-stock lately on my preferred range ammo (i.e. Winchester 'white box' (WWB)) but recently got in American Eagle rounds, so I thought I'd give 'em a try. After shooting several hundred rounds at my local range (I tried both the 158 grn./LRN .38 specials and the 158 grn./JSP .357 magnums), my only complaint is that the American Eagle's seemed a little dirtier than the WWB's, maybe on par with the PMCs I've tried. Other than that though, they shot reliably and true (or at least as true as I'm capable of).

A pleasure doing business with Bass Pro
It's a pleasure doing business with Bass Pro Shops. There are always updates and e-mails to let me know when delivery is expected. And those updates are right on the money. I have found that the service is very professional, to the point, and polite. As to the product, my wife and I are "plinkers" and enjoy target practice. We are happy to find a place and supplier that helps us continue to indulge in our hobby. We have not come across a dud as of yet and will continue to order Federal American Eagle Centerfire Pistol Cartridges as long as they are available. Thanks for being dependable, that means a lot.
