Don’t risk damaging your expensive fishing rods by hanging hooks on them. Hook barbs make small abrasions in rod eyelets that damage fishing line, causing the line to weaken and break. Hooks placed in the eyelet can weaken the eyelet and cause it to break. And placing hooks into a cork handle dulls the hook, which not only damages the handle, but results in lost fish.
The Faultline Outdoors™ Hook-Holster™ can be used with all reel styles--Baitcast, Spinning, Spincast, and Fly--and provides a fast, convenient place to hang your lure. This unique tool completely conceals points on all single hooks, keeps points sharp, and protects your hands and equipment. The Hook-Holster also prevents snags in your boat carpet and car upholstery. Its sleek profile allows a snug fit against your rod, and its lightweight design won’t affect rod balance. Works on treble hooks too.
Faultline Outdoors™ Hook-Holster™
I've grown very accustomed to using the hook holder on my rods, but when one unexpectedly broke, I looked for an alternative. This device fiiled the need, and probably better than the original, since musky-sized hook barbs do not get caught in it, unlike the original wire holder.

Not this One
BPS sells another keeper named the Fuji keeper. This is the one you want. This one will interfere with reel cast and retrieve, also putting too much pressure on the reel seat collar.
