A very nice product and it performs well. It does NOT get points for ease of installation if you have to work in tight spaces. It is a mess to install if you cannot remove your panel. Best advice is to look up the PDF file at Faria and get a sense of the number of bolts you have to put on. Directions are clear but you should still label your wires as you take them off the old gauge. Too many bolts to screw on if you are upside down and in a very tight space. Washers on the bolts do not go on well when you are working upside down. They should figure out a way to use clamps on the bolts to hold the gauge on instead of screws for those restricted places or use some other quick connect method. Once the gauge is on though, it will not come off. It would be nice if you could send the old gauge in for refurbishing instead of tossing so many components into the garbage. They have not changed this gauge in 13 years It is about time for redesign in the back.

A very reliable equipment, easy to install, I've been using Faria for long time in extreme conditions, salt water abuse, little maintenance, looks great in console and always have a match part at bass pro.
