Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Rod This was one of my first Falcon rods that I bought several years ago and it still gets used to this day, I have never had any problems with the eye inserts coming out of any of the Falcon rods I own. November 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Buy When i first got my first falcon original i already had 5 or 6 different rods already and i noticed the difference immediately. The rod being stiffer and more durable than my other previous rods you cannot go wrong with a Falcon Original. I recommend a medium heavy rod 7 ft you cant go wrong with that. February 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Surprised at how nice it is I was already a fan of Falcon rods, so when I picked up a 7' Medium Falcon Original I was surprised at how good it felt. I use it for small crankbaits and small topwater baits. It is a terrific rod for the money, especially since it is made in the USA. December 14, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by really good rod i have a 7'10'' rod for pitin and fliping jigs i have a 7' hvy action carolina rig i caught a nice 13 iber from amistad this summer and it held up i have 2 jig rods 3 carolina rods 2 swimbait rods and more this isn't the best but it worth the money you pay i suggest it to any angler who wants a good rod for a really nice price. A:
When you have rods with lower quality graphite that are more expensive, you are mostly paying for brand name. But some rods might cost more if they are still made in the USA too.

I have used 65 pound braided line when i go fishing with my falcon rod and never had any problems with it. Strongly recommend this rod. I have six of these rods and i don't recommend anything else.
