Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Rods Made in the USA I have 5 Falcon rods that I use for bass fishing. 2-MH, 2-med & 1-ML. The feel of these rods is outstanding. They have soft touch for accurate casting and the backbone for strong hooksets and pull the big boys out of cover. I have tried other brands in the same price range and they really don't have the total package of a Falcon. Excellent fishing rods MADE IN THE USA !! March 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by not the best not the worst I purchased the 6'6" M action rod for crankbaits. Wish it was not as flimsy. January 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 quality rod I have owned these rods and the original series since 1999. never had a problem with any one of them.i have friends with all-stars and g-loomis and have had issues with the quality of the product. The best product for the money hands down! Falcon rods rule. March 11, 2011

A:
Yes. I own both types. The lowrider XG has a low profile reel seat with exposed blank close to the trigger. It feels much better in your hand.

Yes, First of all Falcon rods are made in the u.s.a. They are light and built very well, they will last which in turn justifies the added expense.

A:
Falcon rods are in my opinion the best rod for the money. They are light and strong. If you are budget minded look at the Falcon original series. Same blank I believe, but they do not have the low profile reel seat with exposed blank. The extreme rods by Bass Pro is another good bang for the buck.

It is worth getting the best you can afford. You will cast better, feel what your lure is doing much better, and catch more fish. You will enjoy fishing more when you use better equipment.

A:
The Lizard Dragger II is a good all around rod. It is a 7' Hvy action, but don't let that scare you. It is extremely light and sensitive. I throw spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, jigs, worms, flip&pitch with this rod. Try it and you'll have a hard time putting it down.

I like the Eakins jig special for this. I do not believe you can go wrong with this rod for most of your texas rigged worm needs. I would not use it for punching mats, but for flipping to cover I think it is great.
