I was one of the few people here in Texas to be blessed to have a T7 prior to the Arlington Tackle Show and boy did I feel special. The new guides, cork, seat, and the addition of the split grip, on certain models, makes for a pleasant upgrade from Falcon. Especially for frog and heavy cover fishermen who use braid, now they shouldn't have any complaints or worries about eye failure or deterioration. I have been throwing the split grip on my Daiwa Sol these past weeks and have fallen in love with the new Cara's. Now, many of the new T7 additions in all fairness do come from his big brother, Expert series, however they don't carry the same price tag. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend these rods for mid to upper tier fisherman.
