With a .920" diameter barrel, the stock and barrel combo features a match grade 4140 chrome-moly steel chamber with 1:16 twist, 6 land/groove precision match rifling. This is actually an Adams and Bennet heavy barrel and a Corelite stock, at least the camo version is. They came in a hard bubble pack with good instructions and an allen wrench to remove/remount the barrel.
I bought this as an upgrade to a stock 10/22 that I've had around for a couple years. This is my woods gun for squirrels.The barrel and stock fit perfectly, took me less than 15 minutes (add another 20 minutes to clean the new barrel completely).
My stock Ruger was getting about 2" groups at 50 yards, now I can put 5 rounds almost into the same hole at 50 with Federal Gold target ammo . Winchester Power Points were close to that. With cheap ammo such as Thunderbolts, the groups were also improved over stock, but not by as much. And this is with the factory trigger. I also like the extra weight on the barrel, easier to keep it steady.
Very impressed for what I paid and the results I got.
