standard beads I have used for years on my carolina rigs they work very well. The price is a little steep for the number of beads you get.

I use these beads in Red, 8mm on all my T rigs and Carolina rigs. Have tried the plastic ones, but they scratch up and get crummy with some use. The glass beads hold up well, have a better flash, and seems to make a better click. Some have said the glass will chip, but I havn't had that happen. In addition to protecting the knot, they seem to add a little to the rig - at least the bass think so.

When I drop shot in dirty/murkey water I always put two red beads just above the drop shot weight making a clicking sound and have increased my bass hits. In clear water I use the clear beads with the same results.

Does as advertised. Not easily broken. There beads and I like the facet cut adds light.

For day or night I use the red glass faceted 8mm beads for T rigs.
