These light reflecting Faceted Glass Beads have many sides to them and are extremely popular with bass and walleye fisherman. Proven fish-attractors that will not cut your line and are virtually unbreakable, these Faceted Glass Beads are critical components for Carolina rigging. When paired with another Faceted Glass Bead or a weight, these flashy glass beads create a loud clanking noise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by good bead for a Carolina rig I like the 8mm red beads for fishing Carolina rigs. The combanation of this bead and a Tru-tungsten worm weight makes a lot of sound. March 31, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super with soft baits! I have been using these faceted glass beads for two years here in my SC lake and they are really effective...a combination of 8mm and 10mm in red and clear is my favorite rig...paired w Gamakatsu 4.0 EWG hooks they produce a nice slow fall and great sound when jigged .With the 8mm on top, snags in cover are minimized and they can be paired w bullet weights for heavy 8 an 10 inch worms if needed. Rated 5 out of 5 by A must have! These beads are a must have for Carolina-rigging. My favorite thing about these beads is the fact that they don' t damage your line like a lot of the glass beads that I have used in the past. In addition, they really take a pounding. I am a C-rig nut and I have at times thrown the same bead all day without any line fray from the bead or the bead itself cracking. June 23, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by A real 5 star!! Use when just worming, un-pegged sinker really clicks when it hit the glass bead with very little movement. March 21, 2008

What size for Texas-rig?

Details:
What size bead would be good for T-rig with an 1/8 oz bullet sinker? I'm more interested in sound than sight.

A:
For day or night I use the red glass faceted 8mm beads for T rigs.

Staff Answer
A:
These beads could be helpful if you are looking to add sound to your Texas rig while night fishing. The added noise may be able to help bass find your lure from farther distances than normal.

A:
They clearly would not reflect light but if you had two of them or one with a weight they would create a clacking noise.
