WE WERE DECIDING TO EITHER BUY A NEW BOAT OR HAVE OUR 1991 FORESTER PHANTOM SKI BOAT COMPLETELY REFURBISHED. AFTER DOING THE MATH WE DECIDED ON REFURBISHING. ONE OF THE MANY PRODUCTS WE CHOSE TO ADD TO OUR PROJECT WAS THE EXPLORER PEDESTAL. THE PEDESTAL IS IDEAL FOR OUR TOP OF THE LINE SEATS WE INSTALLED. THE PEDESTAL IS NOT ONLY STURDY AND DURABLE BUT THE BRUSHED ALUMINUM BASE IS AN EYE CATCHER. IT WAS A GREAT AND AFFORDABLE INVESTMENT FOR OUR BOAT..

The 6-bolt pattern on the 9-inch base is easy to install, but I'd be wary of using it on a one-man pontoon boat as the height (13 inches) along with the height of the seat would most likely result in poor stability1 year, 11 months ago
