Best mechanical broadhead because they do not use band to hold blades and yet they still will not prematurely open even when shot through my 350fps crossbow.

I recently purchased Excalibur Equinox crossbow - awesome bow - the first three deer I shot were pass thru shots with standard broadhead but I found little blood trail and no deer - I switched to these and WOW!!! - it looked like Jack the Ripper hit the next two deer - blood everywhere and deer fell within 20 yards - I highly recommend these for the kill shot!

Drives nails, I haven't used it on a deer yet, but for target shooting, these broadheads group better than my field points on my Equinox. At 45 yards, I am holding a 1.5 inch group with 3 shots. Pulls out easily from my Rinehart target and no broken blades or damage after 10 shots. Great product.

My bow came with the 150 grain fixed blades and the scope is set perfectly to match the 150 grain blades. will the 100 grain expandables fly the same or will they shoot faster?Answers
A:Â
The 100 gr will shoot faster than the 150 gr. Just reset you scope.A:Â
There are no practice blades, but there are packs of 9 blades sold seperately for about $20. I was shooting 150 grain and after switching to the 100 grains, I gained about 9 FPS and went from a 6" drop from 20 to 30 yds, to about a 3" drop. In my Equinox, they shot faster, held better groups, and performed great. Using a Rinehart brute target, I have put over 12 shots with one broadhead and have no damage to the blades whatsoever.A:Â
I was shooting 150 grain fix blades with my Excalibur's equinox and could hit a quarter at 50 yards.I switched 100 grain expendables.Yes they shoot a little faster and from 50 yards hit one and a half inches higher on the quarter.three click down on my scope and was on the mark.A:Â
No, you do not get practice blades. Each 5 grain reduction in arrow weight provides a speed increase of about 1 foot per second.Answers
