Rated 5 out of 5 by MELVINB256 Excaliber Equinox Crossbow Package Just recieved the package and it is GREAT! Easy set up and VERY accurate with the enclosed scope. Accurate all the way out to 50 yards - consistently. Shooting sticks (I use trigger stick) advised to improve accuracy. 225 lbs is quite a pull to cock - get the cocking devise and it is a breeze. Can't wait for bow season to start. October 23, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by K2Hunter Excellent Performance Bought this crossbow 2 years ago. Used it for the first time in the 2011-2012 season and yielded 5 whitetail deer (2 buck and 3 doe). This bow provides both precision and accuracy. I used the Easton firebolt arows with the Excalibur recommended Boltcutter broadheads. I have the STS and flemish string, and made 2 brace height adjustments during the season. I have not bothered with f.o.c. or broadhead alignment because the arrows are so repeatable and have remained accurate. After the season was over I rechecked the bow and found it to shoot the same as when I sighted it in at the beginning of the season. This is one fine, durable weapon! Back to my season - All but 1 of the five dropped within 40 yards of the shot, two literally dropped in their tracks. I sighted the bow in at 40 yds and all of my hunting shots were betwen 25-40 yards. I did not notice any movement or "jump" by the deer from the noise when I shot and the arrows were pass-throughs exactly where I aimed (from ~23 feet up in a treestand). I am looking forward to the 2012-2013 season! July 5, 2012

It is simple and easy to maintain, also it is incredibly accurate. This xbow is well worth the investment and will help in creating a lot of great memories!! November 10, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by Richard0512 Equinox I have shot many crossbows, but have to say this one performs very well, i have shot at many ranges and hitting a bulls eye is no problem. This crossbow is more than enough to shoot through any Elk or Deer.It's nice to have the extra speed to help in longer shots.The package that comes with this is great to get you going, only thing i would add to it it Broadheads and maybe throw in a target...lol October 12, 2011
