Took about 5 shots to sight in with 150 grain broadheads... Bull's eye at 50 yards inside the 1 inch circle....

I recently purchased a crossbow to use for deer hunting in Pennsylvania. After asking many friends, I chose the Excalbibur brand becasue of it's simplicity and reputation for reliability.
I ordered the crossbow online and my wife and I easily assembled the bow by watching the DVD that came in the package.
I was concerned about cocking the bow, but found the rope/cocking aid easy to use. Also, the bow was easy to sight in and shoots well.

I made the purcahse based on past reviews i read and they were spot on! The Excalibur Axiom Crossbow performed above expectations. instructions were good and sighting in the bow was a snap! I was pleasently supprized at the quality of the scope. It was very clear. The cross bow could not miss the bulls eye at up to 40 yards... it was SO much fun! I can't wait to harvest my first buck with it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wesilg Compound what???
I just had neck surgery and was sceptical about buying this bow because its not metal framed but could not be happier. I am a compound bow guy usually for bow season bought my first good bow two years ago g5. Fell in love with it.. I know I will not be ready to pull back my 170 lb bow back and steady it for October so I made the plunge. I can buy the pully cocking device as well if needed in October wich is a plus for the Excalibur . i had my little bro cock this device for me while I sighted it in 4 shots and it was on. Took two at 10 then two at 20 yards. Backed up to 40 and the bow shot my 1 inch bullseye twice no problem one was me ,the other my brother. 6 shots total and I could not be happier with the bow.. The price was perfect. It's plenty fast enough for a 30 yard shot without second thought... My little brother liked it so much he's going to start hunting... Finally!

This will include a rope cocking aid, which most case they are hard to pull with one hand. You might need to purchase a crank cocking aid. One that you can crank the handle with one hand.Answers

It is pretty easy to cock when using a rope cocker. I haven't tried it without. I'm guessing it would be difficult.A:
Shouldn't be a problem if your about 5'-6" or higher...A:
With the rope cocking device included in the package you will be able to cock it. Without the cocking device I doubt you would be able to.1 of 1
