Evolved Harvest 7 Card Stud Full Season Forage Deer Food Plot Seed
Good for spring planting
I would reccomend it for spring planting only! If you live in a place like Indiana where we get dry hot august and little or no rain then the turnips and daikon radish don't sprout. If you wait til the end of September when the rains come it is not enough time for plant growth before first frost. south central Indiana has it's first frost between October 15-October normally. I had all my spring planting come up after I planted in the last couple days of april but the clover outcompeted the turnips and radish so Most of my plot was Oats, Trilicate, clover and austrian winter peas. By Labor Day it was just clover with oats and tricilate brown and laying on the ground. I had 3 wild turkey visiting the plot eating clover, dried oat and trililate seeds in Late July and Early august. The deer ate everything but took their time! I actually had horseweed, goldenrod, boneset, and dog fennel that are native to the area grow up in it because I did not spray for weeds and the deer ate them first before the clover or oats.

Great variety seeds
I like this product really well, it has a variety if seeds that the deer love and last all season even in the cold weather. It's not hard to plant either and came up a few days after the first rain and is growing strong. I plant it every year for the deer.

Awesome food plot!
This was my first attempt at planting a food plot. I have a half acre nestled in the woods. I plowed and disced it with my tractor and then spread the seed by hand.
Boy did this stuff grow fast! The deer quickly ate everything but the radish and turnips. They then ate the rest once winter hit. They mowed the field down but there was still plenty to eat when I plowed the field up this spring.
I just bought some more! My soil was very good so you may have different results.

I have tried almost every brand of seed in my food plot progams& this is by far the best Annual i have ever planted. I planted mine Labor day weekend 2011 & just disc it over 1 week ago,the turnips were Huge along with the radish.I am going to plant this next week in a different area to see how well it does planting it for a full seaon. This just might be the answer to a spring only planting of my annuals instead of planting on labor day when its HOT!
