Evolved Habitats Flavored Salt/Mineral Blocks
Good product. If you take a small board and put one or two nails through it you can push the salt block on the nails and it will help it to stay in place and when it rains it shouldn't disolve as fast.

They actually work!
I have used mineral blocks in the past with marginal success but these blocks get eaten and then the deer keep eating the dirt where the block was. They are inexpensive and I will keep using them.

I have been using "Flavored SaltMineral Blocks" for the past 3 years and have had success in drawing deer into the area. Of course, I don't hunt these areas (that is Illegal), but I know they do bring more deer to the area if used on a regular basis. As far as the different flavors go, you want to match what would be found in their natural habitat. For example, you don't want apple flavor in a corn field (unless an apple tree would naturally be found in the area), deer tend to stay away if something is out of the ordinary.....specially when already nervous or wound-up during hunting season. I hope this info is helpful.

Blocks are super!
I went through about 10 of the Persimmon blocks last fall and late summer. I would put one out and go back in about 2-3 days that the deer had literally destroyed the block by pawing and eating the salt and dirt around them. I even captured some pictures with my game camera of the action. Great Blocks
