I love it because it helps my back. All boats should come with this. It was hard to install because of the wood and metal underneath the wood floor. It was hard drilling for the drain plug. Otherwise, it went well.

more specifically, it is a 16 ft dura craft boat, and it starts a slight v hull rise in the front where the foot controll sits, making it impossible for the foot controll to keep from moving all over the boat floor.Thanks,

No it cannot unless you build some kind of deck. I would not try to cut through the bottom of your boat
