Had several chips in my hull an along the back. I patched them with this little tube of gell patch. Hardened like a rock. The chips were the size of my thumbnail and the bottom of my boat still looks good. Has not rubbed or worn off yet!

I have a bunk on my trailer that had 7 nuts and bolts that evidently weren't tightened down and the metal that the bunk was attached to became exposed and pulling my ski boat allowed the metal to dig into the fiberglass. The evercoat gel coat scratch patch did the trick. It has held strong for 3 weeks so far and is still going strong. Using the supplied "scraper", it applied very smoothly and I haven't needed to sand it. I applied wax over it, and it is just as smooth as the boats hull.

No. If you are having issues with leaking around the rivets of your aluminum boat you may want to look at taking it to a professional boat repair person or metal work to either weld the boat or re-rivet that area.Details:Â
