I used it on a 17 foot 50horse aluminum boat. On the bottom. with contact with water at all times. It did not hold. Cost 27 dollars. It was hard to need into compound, and did not adhese well. Boat is now at a welders. If metal can move it will not hold.

I bought this to repair a 1955 aluminum row boat and it has sealed the cracks and holes like a charm. I can't wait to throw it on the water to see how well it has worked. It is very easy to apply and hardens like steel in a matter of minutes, allowing you to sand or even drill it. If it does the work on this old relic of mine I am sure it can handle just about anything. Happy Repairs to All!
