Rated 5 out of 5Â by ArmyAngel Love it!
I bought this tent for my first camping trip. My friends and I went to Ireland for two weeks, and we camped half the time. It rained pretty heavily for a couple of days and nights in a row, and I stayed perfectly dry the entire time. It also stayed comfortable during the heat of the day, and even though my friends (who are much more experienced campers than I) warned me that the inside of my tent would be wet with condensation in the mornings, this never happened. It's easy to put together and take a part, and packs well.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by MRains Good. Three stars for the tent pole...
I am new to backbacking and I didn't know where to start when looking for a tent. I saw this, saw the price, read the reviews, and decided to get it. I am not a minimalist or anything, but I love the compact size and weight of this tent. It is pretty easy to set up. However, take down was a problem for me. Everything went well until I tried to take out the longer pole near the front zipper door. It was very hard to get out... so much so that the pole actually broke and tore through the fly of the tent. I was going to return the tent, but decided against it because I love the size, weight, and easy set up so much. I ended up cutting off the inch or so that broke on the pole, then wrapped what was left in duct tape. This solved all my problems. The pole is now short enough for easy tear down, but still long enough to hold the shape and frame of the tent.
Over all I think this tent is great. When I have more money and more experience under my belt, I might upgrade, but for now, I really enjoy this tent. I would recommend this tent for any of my friends (if they know how to use duct tape).

I go camping alot and every time i do i run into high-winds. How does this tent stand up against this?Answers
A:Â
This is a Three-Season Tent, which is strong enough to handle rain in spring, summer, or fall. For high winds, Eureka recommends a 4-season tent. However, they do recommended using guylines to help stay put. When high winds or a storm are predicted, do not count on staking alone to keep your tent secure. Depending on the model, your tent fly has built-in loops or rings at optimal guyout locations. It is important to put in the extra time guying out your tent. Correctly done, it can save your tent during harsh weather.
1. Attach parachute cord to the loops/rings and stake them in the ground three or four feet from the edge of the tent. If staked too close to the tent, wind can cause an upward pull that could dislodge the stakes.
2. Make sure that the top fly is securely attached to the framework underneath. Ties hook and loop closures, or dog-bones and elastic loops are typical fasteners sewn to the underside of the fly for this purpose.
If your tent does not have loops or rings for guyouts, attach guylines 1/3 or 1/2 of the way up the framework on the main sidewalls. This enables the guyline to support the lower section of the pole, while the upper pole can flex the side of the guyout. This will prevent all movement except toward the anchor. The idea is to get the guylines to work together through opposition.

There are no windows to obscure the view without the rainfly, only bug screen.A:Â
Yes, the windows will zip up all the way. If you zoom in on the photo you will be able to see the zippers. However, the windows are mesh. Which you can see thru.Details:Â
