Built for performance from top to bottom, the Shark Z71 Ice Auger boasts a high-torque, 71cc Viper two-cycle engine, the only engine specifically designed for ice augers. Thanks to the automatic compression release valve, the Viper provides quick start-up in extreme cold. The super tough Eskimo transmission with high-speed ball bearings and high-alloy heat-treated gears transfer the Viper's power to the 42'' Quantum auger. The Quantum's dual balanced, stainless steel blades with serrated cutting edge chips ice away during drilling which allows for a faster, smoother cut while preventing ice buildup. A point and exclusive centering ring combine to provide exceptional balance and cutting control, preventing angled holes. The Quantum auger blades also feature the Eskimo red powercoat finish and a cold-weather plastic blade protector to protect you and your auger. Comfort grip handle bar and throttle control are ergonomically designed for maximum grip and control. A see-through gas tank lets you check gas levels with a glance.
