Of the 35 rods that I own, this is the BEST, most sensitive, and light weight.

I have my 2nd of these ordered fom BPS currently, in a 7' MH, to be my flippin' stick. My first one came from another company when I ordered a Falcon rod, & was mistakenly sent a 7' M Wild Green casting rod. I have Kistler, Falcon, Powell, & other good rods & almost sent this 2-tone sparkly green looking thing back (though it looks phenominal IMHO.........) I am so glad I didn't, just worked out a killer deal for it... Of the 12 or so baitcast rods I keep on deck - It has become my favorite 'all purpose' rod particularly to throw swim jigs, but I've flipped with it, thrown spinnerbaits, lipless cranks etc. Being a medium, you'd think it might not be stout enough for some of these duties. It is designed as an inshore rod, so I guess the power rating is geared toward different use. This is more like an average MH & is a bit more heavy than a couple of my MH rods. It is perfectly balanced and just tips 4 oz on my scale. Light as a feather & just feels solid, yet very stealthy at the same time. You'll read negative remarks about the hook-holder placement & I agree. I cut mine off flush & added an aftermarket one on the blank. One BIG reason this gets the nod over other rods for me is the guides - they are in-between the size of micro and regular ones. For me, micro guides have been frustrating, and regular ones add weight. They've hit it perfect with these. Happy Fishing!

I got the7'6" med rod I use it for freshwater fishing and I was casting a 1/2 oz. Jig and the rod snapped in three places. I love Carrot Stix I own 12 other Carrot Stix and this is the first time it has happened to, but it was less than 30 days so BPS exchanged it for me. So hopefully it was just a bad blank

It's pretty cool. It's lighter green half way, & a deep dark green the last half out to the tip. & has little sparkly flakes in it.A:Â
No. The rod is a brilliant green about half way up from the butt. From there to the tip it is a semi-transparent dark green blank. so on a 7 foot rod expect about 3.5 feet of brilliant green and then 3.5 feet of dark green. It's a very attractive rod and highly recommended.A:Â
No, its two diffrent colors, the bottm is the color you see on the picture, the top is dark green.1 of 1
