I must admit that I prefer sheep casings for my smokies but do to the high cost of these in addition to the shipping I find it cheaper and hassle free in addition to maintence storage(constant flushing and resalting of unused sheep casings) of the 10lb capicity of the collagen strand much easier.Bass pro shops 2pack is for me and will stuff up to 20lbs per pack.They are the cheapest that I found in the two pack if you take advantage of there free shipping when offered.They do offer free shipping various times in addition they might offer it with a purchase minimum.After all 99% of the smokies that you are eating are in collagen casings.ITS A COST FACTOR.

These edible collagen casings were /are exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Bass Pro Shops for carrying such a wonderful product. My breakfast sausage turned out perfect.

Ready to use right out of the bag
These are definitely no fuss casings. No need to rinse, soak or etc. They are ready to use right out of the package. After a little trial and error you can become a pro pretty quickly. The first time I used them I tended to stuff them too tight and burst them. After a minimal amount of practice I learned how to stuff them and had no more issues. My only complaint is that they seem to be a little pricey….but hey….it’s Bass Pro.
