Lucky Duck Lucky Junior Mallard Drake Decoy
Lucky Duck Junior
I was just putting mine together, put the batteries in, turned on the switch, and nothing. I'm no electrician, but I'm also not an idiot (Thank God), so I found a wire that wasn't connected to anything, and tried that, and finally had it going. It was the white wire if it helps anyone. I connected it on the right side above the shaft.

Great Decoy, but weak wings
I bought this decoy before the season started and couldnt wait to use it. I have had the full size Lucky Duck for 7 seasons (although the base finally broke this last weekend) so I was confident in the Edge product line. I bought the remote kit as well and it worked great for about 4 weeks (the intermitant timer really extends the battery life). What I discovered, unfortunately, is that the rods in the wings while nice and light are also nice and weak. I had the decoy already assembled for a short boat ride out to the pond and the dog stepped on the stake. SNAP!~ I am ordering replacement wings today. I WOULD BUY AGAIN, JUST BE MORE CAREFUL WITH THE WINGS. Also, I dscovered these are so lightweight they can actually double as a wind duck if you have a good wind.
