Great hooks made in the USA!
I've used Eagle Claw hooks for over 50 years and have never had a problem hooking up with fish. With 8 line class World Records, I feel I am qualified to recommend these hooks as some of the best made anywhere. And the fact that they are 100% made in the USA make them my choice every time!

Great hook for bass
I am a casual bass fisherman - not hard core. I used to use a hook without a twist and I would lose 3 or 4 bass out of every 10. With the slight twist in the L042 Eagle claw hook I now get 9 out of 10 bass to the boat. And the hooks are, as advertised, Lazer Sharp.

I use the L042 hook for live bait rigging for walleyes and smallmouth bass when I fish them in Canada and they work great. I use the size 8 and have caught some really nice walleyes and sm. bass on them, even caught a 45" muskie on that same size hook.

I use a 2/0 Eagle Claw double barb hook (LT095JBR-2/0) for most of my soft plastics. It is small but strong and I have caught 9 and 10 pounders on it and a 15# flathead one night. I never the hook failed or gave way when I have lost a fish.
