Besides my Gamakatsu Octopus hooks, I use these while fishing with live bait for Bass and Pike. I find it a bit harder to actually hook the fish, but when they are hooked your landing ratio is much higher compared to other hooks.

HOOKS ARE VERY STRONG AND WELL ROUNDED FOR ANYTYPE OF BIG FISH IN MY
OPINION. LANDED A STURGEON USING TWO OF THESE HOOKS(4/0) TIED ON TO A
65LB TEST MONO LEADER, AND LINE CONNECTED TO 65LB S/WIRE BRAID. ALSO,
SURPRISINGLY WITH SUCH SMALL LIPS, I WAS ABLE TO LAND SOME SMALL PERCH
WITH THESE HOOKS. ONCE I RUN OUT, SINCE THERES SO MANY HOOKS PER
PACK, I WILL DEFINATELY BUY SOME MORE.

These are very good hooks, I used them for some inshore saltwater fishing. I used the 4/0 size, which was a nice intermediate size that the smaller fish could handle, but it is also super strong for bigger fish in the double digit weights. I rigged live shrimp on them, and they performed great in all areas, and held the shrimp on the hook well. They are super sharp, and the shape of them makes setting hooks super easy.
