I have used these circle hooks for 2-3 years when fishing for catfish. The hooks may be a bit hard to remove because of their shape, but their ability to hook and hold far offset a little extra tugging with pliers to remove the hook.

I started using these hooks this spring for the first time on catfish. They work great. Really sharp right out of the pack.

I use these hooks for snapper, snook, and mackeral. Easy to set the hook and they dont bend or break. I even caught a tarpon with the 2/0 hook and it didn't bend
