Highlighted by a wider gap, Eagle Claw®'s unique Kahle® hook design places the hook farther back in the fish's mouth to eliminate tearing out the lip. Because the Kahle hook's eye and point are on the same plane, the hook is much easier to remove. Model 151WA is a weedless worm and grub hook.

Eagle Claw Kahle Hooks I started using Kahle hooks in the 1980s.I think they are the best hook for panfish. You have less fish swallowing the hook and better hooking percentages than any hook I have used.I would recomend them to any fisherman who fishes for Bluegill or Crappie.I recently started using them for Channel Cats and have no complaints. I use size 10 for panfish and size 2/0 for Channels.Try them! July 6, 2010
Kahl hooks I have used Eagle Claw Kahl hooks exclusively for 5 yrs now for live bait catching stripers and big cats. I use the L141G in 5/0, 7/0, and 9/0. Hook up ratios are second to none and 95% of the time the fish are hooked in the corner of the mouth.I highly recommend these hooks for those who like or have the habit of setting the hook versus circle hooks and waiting for it to load up. Fishing for 30 plus lb flathead catfish, time is of the essence on a log jam on setting the hook and steering a flathead out of the logs. I have also found Kahl hooks with their unique bend do not hang upas often on debris as live bait swims freely under cover. The only problem that I have found is obtaining the larger kahls, which to say the least is beyond difficult. The main supplier and only supplier I had carried the L141G in stainless and sold them in bulk has retired and closed his business. Buying 200 7/0 Kahls a year probably 30% - 40% of them obtained by other friend fisherman while not observing them has put a lock and key on the few I have left. May 9, 2006
Kahle The L144f in 7/0 is one of the best catfish hooks i have ever used. Ensure a great hookset on the monster of a life time with these bad boys. I hook Blue Cats right in the Corner of their mouth with 'em every time. From a 1.31 channel all the way to a 65 lbs. blue they work for 'em all. Reccomended simply because you will catch more fish. i use these in the type c, L144f and we caught 20 channel cats over the weekend and none were gut hooked, i had 2 out of the whole bunch where i had to just cut my line because there mouths were to small to reach my pliers down into to get the hook out, but other than that, the rest were all hooked in the corner of the mouth. there amazing. i was using 3/0
