I was not verry impressed with the shinnyness of the gold hooks. They were dull and tarnished looking. All other gold hooks that I have purchased have kept their gold shine for years and these eagle claw hooks came to me from the store with a grey tint to them.

the picture made these hooks look perfect --when they arrived -we saw the shank was way to short --and we were right - the fish swallowed the whole hook

I like the Aberdeen hook, size 10. I use Eagle Claw or Mustad. The Aberdeen has a long shank which makes it easier to get out if the fish swallows the hook.1 of 1
